Rendered with the care and reverence of Old‑Master traditions, I seek to elevate disposable objects to the status of artifacts. In doing so, it begs the question- what future generations will inherit from us—and what it means to create beauty from the detritus of a culture built on disposability. The carefully crafted design and utility imbued in these objects contrasted by their single use nature is highlighted by their groupings via their Resin Identification Codes (RICs) or “recycle numbers”-a misnomer since not all RICs are recyclable..
